The Seminars for Zionist Thought is the flagship Zionist academic project of the Im Tirtzu movement. Initiated in 2012, the Seminars work to impart pro-Israel, Zionist, and Jewish knowledge to Israeli students.

Coined by the Jerusalem Post in June 2016 as the “largest Zionist academic extra-curricular program on Israeli campuses,” the Seminars were founded out of an authentic need expressed by thousands of students over the years who have complained about both the exclusion of Zionist thought and a strong anti-Israel bias in the Israeli academic curriculum.

The Seminars are currently being held at Tel-Aviv, Ben-Gurion, Bar-Ilan, Haifa, Ariel, and Hebrew Universities and have attracted thousands of students who gather to hear lectures from some of the most prominent Israeli figures and personalities.

The Seminars’ lecturers include Nobel Prize Laureate Yisrael Aauman, Author Caroline Glick, Ambassador Yoram Ettinger, Journalist Ben Dror-Yemini, Rabbi David Stav, Father Gabriel Nadaff, Atty. Nitsana Darshan-Leitner, Professor Asa Kasher, Maj. Gen. (res.) Yaakov Amidror, Dr. Guy Bechor, Dr. Martin Sherman, Atty. Zvi Hauser, Dr. Mordechai Keider, and many more.

The program features eight lectures spanning the course of the academic semester, with some universities holding two programs annually.
