Members of the Im Tirzu organization protested Monday over the launch of a new book that conflates the Holocaust with the ‘Nakba’.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Members of the Im Tirzu organization protested on Monday night outside the Van Leer Institute in Jerusalem, as the organization prepares to launch a controversial new book\u00a0published by the United Kibbutz Movement.<\/p>\n

The book conflates\u00a0the Holocaust with what Arabs term the “Nakba\u201d – the decision by hundreds of thousands of Arabs to leave their homes during the War of Independence to make way for the Arab armies who promised to \u201cthrow the Jews into the sea.\u201d<\/p>\n
