Tonight the Knesset passed a historic law that will help Israel defend itself from foreign intervention.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Im Tirtzu CEO Matan Peleg also praised the Knesset\u2019s decision: ‘The approval of this bill into Israeli law is a breadth of fresh air for Israeli democracy that will enable it to protect itself against foreign entities seeking to change the character of the State of Israel from within. Backed by foreign government funding, foreign agent organizations are leading a delegitimization campaign against Israel and the IDF through constant propaganda, lobbying, and petitioning to the Supreme Court.'”<\/span><\/p>\n

“Peleg added: ‘Although this law is just a drop in the bucket of the parliamentary action needed to prevent the undemocratic meddling in our internal affairs, it is an important step in the right direction. Im Tirtzu will continue working to protect the citizens of Israel and the soldiers protecting us.'”<\/span><\/p>\n
