During Wednesday\u2019s Supreme Court hearing regarding BDS and “Students for Justice in Palestine” activist Lara Alqasem, the court agreed to factor in the claims presented by Im Tirtzu’s new Legal Division about the potential threat posed by Alqasem\u2019s enrollment in Hebrew University.<\/span><\/p>\n

During the hearing, we presented evidence indicating that only the managerial side of Hebrew University supports Alqasem, while the administrative side is concerned that her enrollment will serve as a spark for violence on campus.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our activities were reported on by international media outlets like the Daily Mail and France 24:<\/span><\/p>\n

“\u2026an attorney for a right-wing NGO that worked with the state on the case insisted Alqasem would resume campaigning activity if allowed to enter Israel.<\/span><\/p>\n

“‘There are enough circumstances and supporting evidence to all our claims that prove that Lara Alqasem isn’t here in order to be a regular student and gain an education,’ said Yaakov Cohen of Im Tirtzu.”<\/span><\/p>\n
