Last week, our Arab Desk published a report revealing that a Jordanian NGO together with the Palestinian Authority has been planting hundreds of thousands of trees in Area C of Judea & Samaria as a way to seize Israeli land (or in their words, to use “green resistance” to “liberate Palestine from the river to the sea”).
A few days after our report was published, Community Affairs Minister Tzachi Hanegbi announced together with the Prime Minister’s Office that the government will be allocating NIS 20 million in 2021 to combat these illegal land grabs!
The new initiative, which was the result of the hard work by many great organizations, will supply vehicle and drone patrols that will collect information on illegal activities to seize land in Judea and Samaria.
