Far-left activist and former head of “Rabbis for Human Rights,” Arik Ascherman, was recently detained overnight by the police after refusing to agree to the terms of a police-sanctioned restraining order against him.
Ascherman received the restraining order after our Video Commandos sent footage to the police of him obstructing the movement of a Jewish resident of the Jordan Valley by grabbing the reigns of the resident’s horse and refusing to let go.
Ascherman and his friends from the radical NGO “Ta’ayush” frequently harass Jewish residents and IDF soldiers in the Jordan Valley. Needless to say, they are not big fans of our Video Commandos.
