Last month, our Arab Desk revealed that the European Union helped fund an illegal structure in Gush Etzion that was built by a convicted terrorist.
The terrorist, who was released by Israel in 2013 as part of a US-mediated initiative to resume peace talks with the Palestinian Authority, built the illegal structure several hundred feet away from a Jewish community.
After we brought the issue to the Civil Administration, it issued a confiscation order against the illegal structure and it was dismantled.
