Following President Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, several virulently anti-Israel protests took place at leading universities throughout Israel.
The protests culminated at Tel-Aviv University with blatant calls for “Intifada” and violence. Although the protest took place on university grounds, the university has yet to take any disciplinary measures or even issue a statement condemning the inciting protest.
Students at Hebrew U and Ben-Gurion U called to expel the “Zionists,” accused Israel of being a “terrorist state,” and declared that “Palestine is Arab from the river to the sea.” The universities similarly responded to these protests with utter silence.
Im Tirtzu activists, once notified about the protests, arrived with Israeli flags, proudly sang pro-Israel songs, and recorded the protests so the public could see the appalling state of events occurring on Israeli campuses.
This is not free speech, rather incitement that needs to be immediately dealt with by the heads of the universities before it leads to violence.
