In celebration of Tu Bshvat, some 100 Im Tirtzu activists travelled to Gush Etzion to plant olive trees in the Oz Vegaon nature preserve, established by the Women in Green in memory of the three boys who were kidnapped and murdered by Hamas terrorists in 2014.
In the true pioneer spirit of the holiday, our activists did it all: they prepared the earth, uprooted the thorns, built stone terraces, dug the holes, and planted the trees!
As in the previous years, Im Tirtzu’s Tu Bshvat activity was dedicated to the memory of Coby Burstein z’l, a lone soldier who made Aliyah from the US and a dear member of Im Tirtzu who passed away in a car accident in 2015.
