Im Tirtzu once again demonstrated it’s impactfulness in the Knesset.
We have continued our fight against incitement on Israeli campuses. Our activists participated in a follow up discussion in the Knesset that addressed the major issue of incitement on college campuses.
Thanks to our efforts, a bill is moving forward to ban the PLO flag at state-funded institutions. We apprised Knesset members of our continued fight against incitement on Israeli campuses, and also participated in a follow up discussion that addressed the issue of incitement on campus. The bill has already passed its initial reading in the Knesset. We strongly believe that a terrorist flag has no place in our public universities!!
In addition, our Arab Research Division discovered inciting and hateful comments made by Knesset member Ayman Odeh. Odeh slandered Israel, incited the Arab public, and told Arab soldiers serving in the IDF to “throw their guns in the face of the occupation.”
We are happy to announce that the day after exposing Odeh’s hateful speech, he faced an inquiry along with two other Knesset members who also incited violence against the state of Israel. There should be no place in the Knesset for those who hate Israel!!
